The stairs leading to the raised grounds where the statue is at offer magnificent pre-sunset views. The statue is the result of a decade worth of continuous efforts of sculptors from India. It's best to visit in the mornings or evenings, pre-sunset views are amazing here, you’d be expected to wear appropriately and walk barefoot when visiting.
There are no tickets however the temple on the opposite side of the statue, the custodian of the statue would welcome donations.
