A large water reservoir and a 20 meter tall dam built across Deduru Oya holding a billion cubic meters of water. The views are magnificent and you can walk along the dam wall in the evenings.
The dam was built in 2014, and provides water to the 11, 000 (eleven thousand) hectares of farmland and a hydroelectric power plant which generates 1.5 megawatts. It is however not a touristy place, but the walks are amazing and would be more of an attraction for a unie explorer.
