A park built with the intention of building awareness and interests on the traditional and modern agriculture in Sri Lanka. The park consists of a paddy field, a chena cultivation, fruit gardens, vegetable gardens, mushroom cultivations, compost unit and a beehive garden. There is also a food center serving traditional Sri Lankan food called “Hela Bojun Hala”
The park demonstrates some traditional and modern tools and methods used in agriculture. The “Wee Bissa'' and the agro equipment museum will give you an idea of how the ancient Sri Lankan agriculture was formed, it connects the dots between the massive water tanks all over the island and the name Sri Lanka was renowned as “South Asia's rice storage”.
