Madulsima is situated in the highlands of UVA province about 750 - 1100 meters above sea level. The highest peak known as Madulsima Mini Worlds’ End lies in a famous tea estate named Roeberry, in Pitamaruwa with an elevation of 383 meters. It is a popular hiking and camping destination among many adventurous tourists. Make sure you take water, flash lights, leech protection, your camping gear and an extra layer of warm clothing.

Mini Worlds’ End is the place where travellers set their camps and spend the nights. The area is an edge of a massive cliff with safety rails on each side. Unlike the Worlds’ End in Horton Plains, Madulsima gets a lot of mist and you will literally be above the clouds. Many take all the required stuff and set up a campfire on top to spend the night. However make sure to wake up as early as you could and wait for the amazing views of the sunrise. The climate changes quite frequently on the time, it gets misty in no time and gets clear again as soon as.

Road to Madulsima is not easy. Unless you have a 4WD it’s good to hire a tuk tuk to get there. The road is bumpy and has a lot of uneven spots which cars wont cope with. There is a small hike about a kilometer to do from the road to the main view point.

On the viewing point there is a cement plaque with various attractions marked in. On a clear day you will be able to see Kandy, Meegahakiula, Bible, Ampara, Batticaloa, Monaragala, Badulla and Pasara. Be sure to take a pair of binoculars. If you have drone cameras you’d be able to make magnificent photographs and videos of the area.
