The walk consists of a mountain where there are caves with statues and paintings depicting the various stories of Buddha.
The temple is located 4.5 kilometers away from Anuradhapura on the Anuradhapura - Thanthirimale road. Wear appropriately when visiting the temple, morning or the evenings are the best to visit.
