Archaeological Museum Anuradhapura

Exhibiting various artifacts from the ancient city the Archaeological Museum of Anuradhapura provides a sense of what you are going to see in the old city. Among the artifacts are an ancient relic casket found in the excavations of Kantaka Chetiya in Mihintale and a relatively large model of the Thuparamaya vatadage. The museum is established in a recently renovated old British colonial administration building.
