Whale Watching

The ocean around Sri Lanka is home to the gentle giants - the performers of the sea! Dolphins and whales parade at various locations around the island during the months of December, January, February, March, and April. Sri Lanka is a marvelous vantage point to observe the migration of 26 species of cetaceans, including blue whales, sperm whales, pilot whales, fin whales and a large number of friendly dolphins.
