Experience the pristine nature of Sri Lankan wildlife. An enthralling jeep and boat safari on the alluring grounds of Gal Oya National Park will not disappoint. There is much to see including the Veddas, an endangered tribe in Sri Lanka on the verge of extinction, as well as swimming elephants and large flocks of birds gathered in the Senanayake Samudra Reservoir.

The best time to visit is from March to July. The national park is 314 kilometers from Colombo, in the southeast of Sri Lanka.
