Uppuveli Beach

Known as the Salt Land, Uppuveli is a beige white sandy beach located six kilometers northwest of the Trincomalee town, perfect for swimming and watching the sunrise. There are many good reasonably priced hotels and restaurants by the beach, and being close to its big brother Nilaveli and the other attractions makes it a perfect place to stay while you are in Trincomalee.
