Doowili Falls

Through a dense forest and habitat of many wild birds, the Kalthota Duwili Ella stands a spectacle. The cool waters cascade down a sheer drop of 40 meters, creating a misty cloud, and thus its name “Duwili” from the literal Sinhala translation dust. You can pull up at the parking lot, purchase your ticket and head to the observation point on foot. Be cautious around the rock pool as it is 30 meters deep, and not recommended for swimming.
