Baker's Falls

Nestled amidst the misty Horton Plains National Park, Baker’s Falls may not be the tallest or widest waterfall in the country, but it is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular. The waterfall, which stands at 20 meters height, was named after Sir Samuel Baker, a British explorer and game hunter, who discovered it in 1845. Visitors can enjoy an exhilarating trek up the rugged paths, and soak in the serenity, flora and wildlife of the region as you make your way to Baker’s Falls. Be careful as the plunge pool is 12 meters deep.
