The Kilinochchi War Memorial is a large monument located in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, in the town of Kilinochchi. The memorial was established in honour of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 2009 during the Sri Lankan Civil War. The unique monument is well-maintained by the Sri Lankan Army and offers a reasonable historical feeling for the enthusiastic traveller.
