Oluvil Lighthouse

The twenty four meter tall lighthouse is located on a tip of a peninsula-like sand stretch in Oluvil, this is the first lighthouse built in the country after being recognised as an independent state. It was built in 1999 along with the Pottuvil fisheries harbour. Accompanied by a single storied equipment building the white cylandaral lighthouse consists of four windows on either side with a lantern and a deck on the top.
